Plus I think a old Norton would look good with a side car, PJ would love that.

My old man has a 1957 BSA A7SS that he got in 1962. It's an absolute hoot to ride. Yes the gear change is on the wrong side and the wrong way up, the suspension is basic by todays standards and brakes, well I suppose there is something there. But it's great to ride, nice slow gear changes, low down torque and fantastic noise. It always leaves me with a huge grin on my face when I ride it. If I had space in the garage I'd deffo have a classic, along with a TDR250, a KTM super moto etc. For now I make do with insisting we go for a ride when we go to visit!

Get one!

Don't worry about the gear change thing either. I find that the bike is so different to ride I very rarely forget it's on the otherside and the other way up.

I want a 1978 Suzuki GT750... 3 cylinder 2 stroke. All the "real" bikers had something like that when I left school, or a Kawasaki Z1, 900cc.
