bit of a tangent but does anyone know where you can buy aftermarket coloured springs. i want one like a hyperpro but in blue. needs to be blue.

I 'think' the standard bones are 95mm hole centre to centre.

I can check tonight if needed.

Yes, longer means lower

Yes you should to keep the geometry, but not everyone does and it depends how how much you lower it.

Rik, don't know if it's the right colour but Nitron do a blue spring on their shocks. It's a light blue like the rizla suzuki colour. http://www.nitron.co.uk/

if its off a gsxr k1 the shocks are slightly shorts than the sv's and the gsxr SRAD models so that may be a possability. but ive not seen a GSXR with that colour spring as standard ?!?

Are you sure its just the spring? It may have had the entire shock changed, which is nice, as i believe that Hyperpro shocks are servicable.

Maxton spring is purple and the shock body is aluminium with screw type preload adjustment. If the shock body is steel with cam type preload adjustment it may be a stock shock with different spring.

The shock just has the usual cam type preload...will have to have a poke around lol...cheers everybody!
