Any night workers out there ?

I do three 12 hour night shifts every fortnight.on a weekend...finish at 8 get home at 8.30, in the land of nod by 9.15.. set my alarm for 5 o clock. However if I don't wear earplugs i'm awake at every given opportunity and like a zombie at work for all three nights, but I won't get out of bed till my alarm goes off.
The catch is, I may get sleep during the on Sat and Sun of around 8hrs,but............on Friday morning I get up to take my son to school before 8am, very rarely sleep at all friday, go to work at 8pm, work all night and crash in bed sat........on a monday I very rarely sleep and get an hour on the sofa when my son comes home from school and am awake then til about 1am.


AND IF I DO SLEEP ON A MONDAY I FORGET TO SET MY ALARM LIKE I DID THIS WEEK AND HAD SCHOOL RING ME UP TO FIND OUT WHY I DIDN'T PICK HIM UP!!!!!
