I welded myself a "topcase-fixment" at the place where the handle bar for the pillion is:

here without case:

And yes it looks much better without!

Photo's were taken at my trip to the Voges in France.

Notice my GPS!

Ah I see someone's got the 675 drunk and cling filmed it to itself, bet it'll feel silly tomorrow....

As for top boxes, they're practical, but it's pretty much the worst place to throw 20kg of weight if you want the bike to handle nicely....

Yeah, I know, gold wheels, what a fashion faux pax

Top boxes are great- practical, secure, waterproof, stable... They do look appalling but the question is, is your bike a tool or a toy?

Fact. Though I don't think Givi rate the racks to that weight either, I certainly wouldn't put that much on mine, no chance. THough this weekend I probaby had about 5 kilos of stuff in it, and the bike was better over rough surfaces because my shock's now oversprung for my scrawny frame

Ok 20KG was probably an exageration. I had a really big Givi top box on my Bandit 600 and had to stop using it as it made the bike handle so badly. The shock was on it's way out which was the actual problem, but I just never got round to fitting the top box again after I got the money together for that new shock.
