Nobody turned up so I headed off on my own. The further west I got the wetter it got

Which wasn't good because my front tyre doesn't have much tread left. Had a few dodgy moments. One on a fast corner, got a slight tank-slapper. Then got another one on a straight as I went over a shiny join in the tarmac. Got to the green welly, had some soup to warm up, then thought sod it I'm heading home.
Couldn't enjoy it in the wet. And I wanted to do those new roads when it was dry so I could really push it.

Some other time........
