The noise and engine for sure are the best things. not standard noise but through an aftermarket pipe it is!!

The Pointy faired one looks like certain years of an R1 (headlights) but it's alround much cheaper than an R1. That's why I got one (plus all the reviews)

+1 for sure, i have quite often mistaken an SV in my mirrors for an early R1 and visa versa.

My favorite thing, besides the overrun noise, is the way the bike is just planted. I have absolute confidence in my bike and my tyres. Ok, its all a bit softly sprung and the brakes arnt great, but the bike is always always stable.

Then, the softly sprung thing and the crap brakes are actualy also good, because they make you feel more like a Hero when going for it, because everything takes that much more effort.

Great bike, fantastic.

This is true, you can filter so easy on an SV as its thin, fold the mirrors in and you will fit anywhere.
