I would have liked the option to negotiate. My view of the company drops massively when they send a graduate out to tell me the company aren't vaguely flexible, and aren't willing to listen.

hehe. I know, we all feel undervalued; that's life. That's why I edited the last post too - it was an uncalled for whine I only asked work in a lighthearted way that I was being payed 9000/year less than my colleague for doing the same job having the same experience and was their some negotiation. I didn't expect to be shot down by the company (whilst also being told they want me to stay for a long time...) which is what annoyed me, made consequently made me speed I do want to enjoy my work, but the British work ethic sometimes makes that difficult.
