Please explain this to me.

rasism is funny, well not funny haha, but funny odd.

it is ok for a black person to call a friend a n**** if the friends are cool with it. both parties are saying it a bonding thing, showing closeness etc.

when its used in a derogetery way, then it isnt ok.

i have spoke about this to alot of my black friends and they have told me that they would not be offended if i called them a n****, but not in a derogetery way.

BUT

i never would, i think its just too odd to use a word that so linked with the slave trade (i know how the word has been mutated into common useage.)

ALSO

if he said anything in a derogertry way that had a direct relation to skin colour then he should get done.

If the Police force that dealt with it is anything like mine, then the definition of a racist incident would come into play:

A racist incident is where ANY person perceives it to be racist, this means that even someone walking past who sees/hears things can report it as a racist incident.

Someone posted earlier about 2 black friends refering to each other by use of the "N" word. If a "white" person (who didn't know them), saw/heard this and decided to report it as "RACIST", and they percieve it to be a racist incident, then IT MUST be treated as such, regardless as to whether the actual persons involved do or not.

Ian wright would augue with the pope, he's an out spoken kind of guy and i can see how he might upset ppl.
