I think this is the new Hornet 1000.

Sweet. Looks quite angular and stealth like.

Why (oh why) are they going in that direction with the 'zorts?

Have they had a huge bung from the aftermarket boys? Fuel, CCC, Beowulf, Mircon, et al must be rubbing their hands together.

I'd have a replacement can/system fitted before it even left the showroom were I buying any of the 2008 bikes.

I like it all, although I don't see the purpose of the blue bit of the headlight.

Why would you want to change the headlight? IMHO, there isnt anything half decent out there as a replacement, except a maybe a set of bates 5 1/4's ala Speed triple style. Maybe it will have HID as an option, like the Goldwings.

Headlight is nice
Honda are insisting we don't call it the hornet, apparently it's an 'R' bike

I think that is really smart looking. Come on you guys get with the programme....progress.I like the way they use a kind of shield to help blend in the exhaust also. A bike like that makes much more sense in truth than many a plastic clad race rep 1'000.

I can see me having yet another conversation with the wife about why I 'need' another bike.......

I bet this would look so sexy in dark grey or black.

I think it looks great! Another one to add to the list of possible future bikes...
