I was talking to some of the penguins* at Grimwith yesterday and they were saying how much they missed the fun of sliding down the glacier now most of it has simply broken up into icebergs. Mind you, the seals enjoy the 'bergs!

*Apparently, they don't have penguins in the South and (they told me) the animals are so unfriendly down there, they don't talk! I mean, Bill Oddie never seems to talk with Kate Humble's tits on that Autumn programme....

Chunner, chunner, moan, moan! You lot don't know the half of it. In the last week I have had to once again resort to wearing long trousers due to the prevailing arctic like temps plummeting to around 20ºc. My little legs will have to remain undercover until maybe march arrives once more.

Its FREEZING!!!
Rode fom Cumbria to Carlisle on Sat and back in the dark, which was a bit scary actually, and went back on Sunday and bought new 2 piece leathers. Thought I would try them out on the ride back and had to stop after 10 miles to put my Textile jacket on over the top !!!

Had to scrape the ice off the cage this morning before heading to work. Bbrrrrrrr.....

Luckily the bike has the rear wheel removed currently, that's my excuse anyway.
