That's good! I'm expecting about 4k out of my 208rr.
Avon storms are definitely my next tyre.

storms still lovely.
warm up quickly, grip even when cold and handel well in the wet even when you push it.

only issue is melted numberplate is rather hard to get off them.

Mine are fine now that they're 'bedded in'. (bit slippy at first).

I had an 'issue' with the tyres on Suzy since shes been running right. I had an Azaro on the front and storm on the rear. Now according to Avon these tyres are compatible, I think they is not! I got the sensation that it felt like going over cats eyes, even over the slightest of rough pathes on the road, or a tiny pothole, or a white line. Yes white lines tyres all doo that, but not to the extreme that this was.

The Azaro had been on there for a couple of yrs or maybe three, but there were no flat spots, much tread(as TBH she not been ridden much since that was put there) my tyre fitter was reluctant to replace a tyre that seemed perfectly fine, if a tad old.The sensation was very un-nerving. He took it out and couldn't replicate the problem. But then he wouldn't hes heavier than me, and rides different, also he was riding considerably faster than I do....grrrrrrr!

I took it last week and had the tyre replaced with the storm. Personally I think the Storm was too planted on the rear, so the front squirmed if you like. Now I have a matching set, and although the weird coating is making the front still squirm, its much more planted on the front, and wibbles less over the same bumps and lumps. I am pretty certain that once that coating is scrubbed off, the horrid sensation will go.

ahhh, are the profiles mismatched or something? Bit bizarre that - glad it's sorted though.

something to do with the compound, something like that, pkus both Im Indoors and YC said the front was fairly 'cupped' but Rob tyres said it wasn't bad enough to be that much of an issue, either way..its gone!
