As usual we've been struck by the curse of the wasps and fecking cold weather

After yesterday's high winds, I went out on a fishing trip from Brancaster, surfice to say not one person on the boat caught anything, but at least no one chucked up as the sea wasn't too rough.

But kiddies are enjoying the attractions at Hunstanton, went for a ride on the Wells to Walsingham light railway this arvo

So a pretty normal North Norfolk holiday

The local mobile tyre fitter came over this morning to fit a bt016 to the front of Jeffs zx6r, £110 fitted

However, it soon became quite apparent that his front wheel bearings fooked so the bikes going back to the dealer saturday to get it sorted. It'll be done under warranty cos hes only had the bike since 11 June, but its only done 6k miles. That seems very early on in the bikes life for a problem like this, isnt it? If the fronts gone, is it likely the rear will soon go too?

Good news though is a pair of Avon Storm 2 Ultras will be £220 fitted when i need them in a couple of months time, and I dont need to leave the sofa

I don't know if its the same with wheel bearings, but certainly head bearings can get knackered over a cold winter. Mine did. Horribly notchy steering on the way to the MOT centre...

I went to St Neots motorcycles today for a bottle of Scotoil and a couple of numberplate screws. I almost walked out with a naked K3 SV1000. He said they haven't had time to wash and polish it yet but it still looked a very tidy bike. It had bellypan, screen, new bars, blue levers, bar ends, twin fuel cans, Suzuki drop bungs amongst other stuff. He made buying it sound so easy that I really was tempted to buy it.

What makes it worse is it's rare for them to get any SV1000's in and when they do they soon shift. I might just hold out and look for one like Skips.

I want a Versys, though I'm fairly sure that it won't fit down the side of the house Insurance is dirt cheap too.
