Being honest - when I saw where it was going to be I thought 'oh no - all that way down south...'
BUT then I thought - 'self, people in that neck of the woods came to Shrewsbury in 2006 and didn't complain'. So self is going to repay the compliment. I don't like motorways on the bike, I feel too exposed and I hate heavy fast traffic, so that rules out the M40 and the M6/M1, I will poodle down on A roads. This is subject to being around anyway, cos this year I have a larger team and I have to consider everyone else when I take hols. |
