I haven't found any cheap cameras here - even Chinese ones. I mean there must be millions of Seagulls around somewhere. The camera shops tend to focus on premium brands - Japanese stuff and Leica - at crazily high prices. I'll post a few pics when I'm home.

Hey Yoko, I have found a home for the Sigma mini-wide 2 you sent down with the Canon A1. Picked up a Canon T50 and it dropped on a treat.

The Ikonta there kenzie is a Mess Ikonta like mine, the RF is uncoupled i.e. it's basically a scale-focus camera. Good pics but slow to use if you use the RF.

Does anyone know if I can transfer the shutter and lens from one folding camera to another? I have a Dacora 1 with f3.5 lens and shutter and the bellows is ok, but it is missing the wind kn.ob and one of the top panel screws has broken.

I do a search for "Certo" now and again, think that is a Dollina? Never that many of them around for sure, think they changed into Exa or someone. Yes I was intrigued by a Durst Automatica, it's near-impossible to work out their value and they are rare. Interesting back story to them; Durst mainly made enlargers and do forth, but i a story not unlike the start of the Cricket Wars in H2G2, a crashed wartime enemy plane yielded an unusual part which forms the central bit of the camera's pneumatic automation (IIRC).

Shutter transfer: should be just about as simple as removing it from one and putting it in another, as I am guessing there is no RF trickery involved. I think they often had standardised size mounts. Distance to the film is another thing though, I can only presume you can collimate it, or maybe if it is too close you could pack it out a bit.

Well I'm back with a seriously damaged body clock. trying to unpack and to transfer some photos from the TZ and the phone. I'll put a few film related ones up later.
I only managed to use 2 films, both of which went through 4 x-ray machines yesterday. I'll put them in for processing tomorrow and see what comes out.
I found a shop selling film in Shanghai. Much cheaper there. Fuji 400 at £2 for a roll of 36 - and processing too but I didn't have enough time. At least I know now.
Glad you've got something to put the Sigma lens on Kenzie. Did you ever get the Canon working again or is it dead?
