Now it's really not looking good for me. Never have I wanted a garage more than right now. Hardest rain Reading has had since I moved here in February and it had to happen today, the day I wanted to fix my front wiring loom to get the lights fitted.

Still, things might take a turn for the better. *sigh*

Aaaaaand the thunder and lightening has just started. I was and still am really looking forward to this trip. (optimism at it's best )

I unfortunately can't put it off any longer - I'm a definate no-no.

Basically new medication is leaving me unsafe to ride or drive - and it's not going to clear my system in time.

But - I've been there, done that, and WILL bedoing it again - just not this weekend.
Someone else will have to write up te review - and you'd all better come back in one piece y'hear...

... really...

... one massive combined lump of men and machines!

Seriously, keep safe and have fun for me guys.

Aaah K I am sorry to hear about that. Dropping out like flies it seems! I'll take lots of pictures to compensate for you not being there!

I managed to get my lights are sorted thank god. The rain finally stopped!

I have my bike booked in to get it's different discs put on tomorrow, I do hope they aren't loctited in too badly otherwise they say they aren't really equipped to deal with that. Worst comes to worst, I'll be using slightly thin discs. Braking is fine on them but they're past their limit. Shame I don't have an abba stand!

Should be good to go!!

Packed, loaded the bike, checked the tyre pressures, adjusted & lubed the chain, gave the thing a cursory polish (pointless with the rain tomorrow). Waterproofed leathers, cleaned visors, got all my paperwork together, now what have I forgotten?

Arm bands and snorkel? (only half joking)

Gave mine a bit of a polish as well, doesn't seem right starting a big outing without giving her a bit of a clean.
