Didn't think of that...ouch! If it's monthly then take the £50 hit maybe and save on the remaining months? I assume you lock you into a 12 month period?

Had a lovely ride the long way between Norwich and Cromer/Sheringham today, I was riding with my mate on his CBR600RR...liking the 7-9K rev range (should stick below 7.25K ), I did the bike justice today, getting a little more daring on the corners when I can see the exit

First service tomorrow AM...

I believe it is illegal to have more than one insurance policy running concurrently on a vehicle, to prevent fraud etc.

Could well be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time!

How long is left to run on it KJ? My mate sold his bike last year and had 2 months left on the policy so he "forgot" to cancel it so he would still get his no claims... Up to you though at the end of the day.

Re insurance KJ. Depends how much your insurance is a month as to whether it is worth cancelling. The years no claims bonus could save you quite a bit next year although you may have already bought another bike before you get the full no claims. Technically it's illegal to keep it running but that's really to stop one person taking out multiple policies on a single vehicle then being able to claim more than once. Was a scam a few years ago I believe.

As Skip mentioned if it had a short term to run then a lapse of memory could be justifible but I dunno about 8/9 months.

I owe £98 (£14 for 7 months) and they actually want £80 to cancel!!! And the woman on the phone immediately pointed out it would be illegal to continue the policy to accrue no claims on a bike i didnt own - either there are lots of people at it or she's telepathic!

Im so pi$$ed off, i cant believe its costing me as much to not have the bike as it would have been to keep it. Dirty Robbing Barstewards, GGGrrrrrrrrr....
