Re: Vintage film cameras
Yo, Kenzie did you bid on the Certo you posted the number of? Looks good, very similar to mine but mine doesn't have the extinction meter built into the RF binnacle, and the shutter/lens are different, but it's the same with the P/F lever etc. Ropey picture on the ebay listing, the B&W one of the car! I'll be interested to see the ones from yours.
Still not taken one shot with the Contessa, been total chaos here. Kitchen is being refitted, the heating popped and has been off since Saturday morning, couldn't get a plumber to come out so had to stop it gushing myself, my dad has been over from Spain and will be moving here in the next month or two, and it goes on. Anyhoo hopefully pick up some pics on Weds |

This one? 152395113475 No, my bid is on a Certa! 262805085305. Might take a punt on the Certo if I miss out on the Certa. Wondered where you had gone.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It's a Certo too, someone can't read. Comes with the glass plate kit - never seen that before. I presume it also contains a mask, but you could always use the one from your other Certo. Yes just like mine except the shutter, but same lens etc. Looks good.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It doesn't appear when you search for Certo so hoping it slips under the radar. I only found it by chance.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Negs arrived this morning. Certo not looking too rosey. Think it has a major light leak but won't be able to tell until I scan later on the upside is the Akarette looks proper sharp.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I know the feeling. I still haven't got rid of the light leak from the XD5. But these are inconsistent and each one is different. Any idea where the light is coming from?

Re: Vintage film cameras
No idea! If I win the other Certo then I may take spares off this one. The capacitors have been shipped so hoping they won't take long from Germany.
