I haven't posted anything for ages, apologies for this, kinda distracted whilst my life gets turned upside down & put in a spin drier.

However, had a nice trip to Helsinki with work last week, so here's one of the harbour

Here's one place the chaps didn't mind visiting. The whole room was decorated with adverts & pictures of scantily clad ladies. We asked one of our female colleagues to tell us how the ladies was themed Never did find out.

Stopped to eat my packed lunch* at Castle Combe when passing through on a couple of hours out riding yesterday. Beautiful sunny crisp day.

VFR has been a bit lumpy starting and then idling really high for a minute or two. Took the airbox off to lubricate the linkage on the starter valves and wax idle just in case that was causing the problem. Got a bit carried away... as I'd gone to the trouble of getting the air box off anyway. Synced the starter valves and did snorkel, pair valve and flapper mods while I was at it.

My VFR can be a bit lumpy in cold weather. When i blocked the pair plumbing it made it even worse and wouldn't tick over at all unless i held the throttle open for a minute or so. So i reverted the mod. I have removed the airbox snorkel and deactivated the flapper though.
