Thats what he meant by its a 190miles around and we stop twice... hovis is thinking stop at the camp site after the first 190, then go again before lunch, then again after lunch. 3 times round in total nutters planning on covering 570miles on the Saturday. |

Re: AR10 Chat
I do also think the addition of a food van would be a much more preferable idea. They are perfectly catered for feeding 100 people without sniffing for air. In previous years some have been a little disappointed with how much they get for their money.
With a food van, you get it on tap, and you get what you pay for. But would they be at it all day? or just at certain times? Either way.....make sure its a definate feature at the AR, its a winning touch

Re: AR10 Chat
don't forget the ride out has to actually go to somewhere not just round in a circle, not much point of that.

Re: AR10 Chat
I don't do the rideout anymore, its the second year in a row, too many bikes for my liking.
I just go to sit in a field and feel relaxed and occasionally get a tan or get wet*, have a few beers, play with dogs, kids and get to know some nice people * delete as applicable This year I didn't expect it to have an influence on life changing decisions, or indeed that I'd find

Re: AR10 Chat
as you very well know , i meant it's better to ride to a destination for whatever reason ie coast, mines, scenic railway perhaps, than ride around all day without visiting anywhere, so then when asked you can say we went to xxxxxx instead of, oh nowhere just rode around a bit and don't even know where we went, hope that clears this up. allthough i hear it can be good for getting your knee down, circles that is. |
