Sat 23rd April 2005: Fun in the Hills of South Wales!!

hope you all had a good one, i was unable to get my bike working....pants...

we battered the opposition 7-0 though, even let our keeper take a pen so he had a goal this season

what was the ride like? hope i can come on the next one

Good day was had despite the weather and there was a really good turn out, in excess of 20 bikes I reckon

I had a great time depite the sopping crotch and it was good to meet new faces.

The route was fab, but we missed out the last bit due to time constraints. Photos were taken

We should do it again in summer, methinks

hehehe, it would have been a bigger turn out.. except we lost a few before we even got on the M4!

I think i got in first, but I couldn't be arsed to logon till now.
I got to aberystwyth pretty safely, despite the volve trying to race me through the mountains

Can we go round again please, Dad (when its sunny ).

Great turn out despite the weather, still unsure who half of were but great fun!

I got lost on the final stretch, when we were supposed to see the
castle. I rode for a while along the M4 with two other people but in
the end got the impression that they also didn't know where they
were going.

I tried texting Rich to tell him that I am going home. Don't know
whether he received the message as I had my daughter's phone and
wasn't sure how to use it.

I was home first!!

Three of us waited at the bottom of the bwlch, I was short on time so went up it and over - could see nada. Went down the other side, nearly home - dry roads and sun, typical!!

I enjoyed it, nice to meet everyone - defo do it again in a couple of months time

Thats the most miles I have done in a day on my SV 314 miles in total

Now for a nice hot shower and chinese take away

Oh an just as well I put my alarm in sevice mode at the last fuel stop

Battery is flat as a pancake in the keyfob I would never have made it home..

Proffessor that was me you were following sorry I got very muddled up on the roundabout hence the wrong way down the M4

Oh and I am not sure who I followed down the M5 once we left Rich, I tried to tell you that your numberplate had fallen off, but its kind of hard at the naughty speed we were doing, Sorry
