int that frowned upon lass.

In AR speak, yup. But i did do the cunning thing of turning up at the lunch stop at Finchingfield this year.

TBH, it maybe called the 'annual rideout', but I couldn't give a monkeys! I decide if I do the riding bit, and I aren't infleunced by anyone......so if it were in Wales I might decide to do it on the day.....but then again maybe not!

I honestly dont think it matters one hoot whether you do or dont do the rideout.

But I honestly think it is an integral part of the weekend, I'm not so sure what I'd do all day on Saturday the idea of sitting in a field / pub all day and getting drunk doesnt really appeal I can do that at home or in one of the local pubs.

I personally like the rideout element, it gives me a chance to have a ride around in an area that I might not normally ride...

being a lady...cough splutter......

not doing the rideout also gives ample opportunity to have shower and hog it before the smelly sweaty bikers come back after 150 miles

Or, if it's in wales, come with me and the dogs to play in the river, walk around the woods, go into Hay-On-Wye, back to the site, go to the swimming pool and have a swim/relax for an hour, shower and be all chillaxed for when the bikers get back!

Bluefishman - Hovis is away now til Sunday, but the route is not set in stone and yes....he is planning on the stops being in places of interest...one thing is for sure...the riding will be fab and the photo opportunities even better!

Oh yeah.....the catering van is going to be open all weekend. They may close it for an hour or two on the Saturday so as not to waste electricity, but they did say, they'd be there and open all weekend!

I can't call it a burger van as their food is just so much better than normal. The prices are amazing and the portions are very generous!

quantity and quality!
all thats missing from making your AR the "if carlsberg did AR's" is an infinate supply of petrol and a fully stocked mechanic all free of charge.

You'd have to hold it anually then and call it the "welsh weekend"

Nah.....anyone coming to the AR should just be able to chillax and have fun, but I am looking into getting a local mobile mechanic on standby so that anyone with a problem will have the best chance of getting up and running again!

Got two getting back to me next week!
