Re: Vintage film cameras
Absolute steal if it was £20 for the lot.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yep, the whole lot. Proper chuffed as I had almost given up trying to get one. He said that there wasn't much interest. There is a 50mm f1.7 on its own finishing in 4 hours for £25 on its own.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I know you've been after one for a while. Glad that a good one's turned up.
My latest arrived today. SRT 101 is in good condition, mechanically sound and the light meter working. Even better, it's got a battery in (though I don't know what) The zoom has some scratches on the front lens though (which the seller did mention) Will see if they show up on photos; if they do, it's back on ebay I think. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I had some light scratches on the from of a Pentax 28-80 but they didn't show up in any photos.
Did you get your Adaptall lens as well? Decided to buy the full version of the light meter app. You get iso setting and mode retention after closing, otherwise you have to keep putting the settings back in. Did my first test load of Fomapan in the Minolta 16. Now if I could only cut straight then I would be sorted. Tried to put the 127 sized offcut into a Satellite camera but the 120 backing is not ideal.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Which Adaptall was that? I'm starting to lose track of things.
Managed to fix the SV. Can't believe how much time it took me just to switch a brake pedal. Now I find I've got an indicator not working. I might take a wander out to York tomorrow. Will take a camera along. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I thought you had bought an Adaptall from Rocky along with the srt? My first load attempt didn't stick to the take up spool. Popped it open in the dark and tried again.
My SV is going to be grumpy when I fire it up eventually. Sent from my Xperia

Re: Vintage film cameras
The SRT came via ebay along with the MD 35-70
From Rocky, I'm expecting an Electro 35 and a Chinon prime. I bought an AD2 28mm a couple of weeks via ebay - came with a Yashica mount too. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm losing track of it too. I need to be more selective; it's becoming obsessive.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Be careful or you will end up like me. So many cameras that you have no idea what to shoot next, what is loaded etc. I know I keep saying this but I really need to stop. But I say to myself, just one more. Then its another and it keeps on going!
