Matt, I was thinking something similar. We could do with a Who's Who thread as a stickie.
Keep it spam free and it could be a decent reference for putting names to faces.

Might be good, like, to have a specific one for this thread. There is a thing in the photo's section of "you and your bike", but that gets quite busy.

Everyone seemed to know who me and maria were

Oh an extention of that why not have one at the top of each regional section ?

A locked thread with thumbnails (head an shoulder), then if you were to go out of area and arrange to meet some of the locals it might help?

I recently done the same sort of thing for Sarah as a keepsake for her with the Soho faces, came out alright.

Yea, it can just be Bike pic + owner(s) pic + name(s)

Something clear so we can get a good idea of who's who. Alot of you know each toher already, but for the new people or recently joined people, it would be a big help?

to be honest I think that would be just to big and you'd end up with some dis-jointed pages long thread that you'd have to dig threw to find anything.

I was thinking one picture with head & shoulders of the various members with either proper name or forum name on it, I'll nock up something rough to give an idea, although it'd need someone to edit it every now and then to keep it updated.

I think this kind of thing it's better to keep it simple.

Yea, thats what I was going for, just people + name + bike, so when new people turn up they know what bikes they are looking for, although this may make the thread to big

Should be edited to keep it to the essential info, no derails etc

I don't see why it should have the bike as people tend to change thoughs or indeed have several?, whilst no impossible to change a face it's less likely, and I don't think we need a thread even, just a single picture with camio's in it, locked so it can't be played with ?

Of course who ever done it would need to speak to whom ever it is on they first, after all only good manners.

Why dont we all just have our pictures as our avatars then?

I'm not keen on having my pic in an easy and obvious place with my name under it tbh. Call me paranoid but i dont. Dont mean its not a good idea tho and others may not be as negative about it as I am and i have no problem with it as long as everyone else wants.
