I could do with finding out what time you'd be picking me up ASAP 'cos I'm coming up from Peterborough on Friday evening on the train.

I'll text orose, get the ball rolling a bit. Well I finish work about 4pm on friday, a few miles from the city centre, I could either put me stuff in the car friday morning and go straight from work and pick you guys up or could go home for a bit and collect you later.

It's whatever is easiest for you mate.

I can see if I can get off a bit early to catch an earlier train

Say I can finish at 5 on Friday I can be at Wakey for Half 6 and probably at mine and ready for 7. Providing there are no delays.

I'll try and get that sorted today and let you know.

If you have a PS3 then bring your controllers, I only have PES 9 and Fifa 10 so if anyone has MotoGP etc then bring that we'll get a couple of beers in and make Friday worth the while. (not too much mind, getting shot will be painful enough without a stinking hangover).

Aye anything you've got to break up the football incase thats not to everyones liking. But beer and a fifa winner stays on / round robin is always a champion night in my book

Just been looking on the Skirmish website at the deals;
http://www.playpaintball.co.uk/packages.htm

Look at the £59.50 deal... then at the £60 deal, for 50p you get to keep the mask. I've got my own gloves from a similar deal (because you get to pick a size which fits which is handy when playing with a gun lo). Keeping a mask though seems like a good laugh, you could scare the crap outa people plus you could weather proof the lens/anti-fog.
If any of you have more money than sense you could always go for the £165.50 package... you get to keep the gun.

looks like that's for only the half day playing though.

I've forgotten what the original deal was that we signed up for! (i.e why this got organised).
Was it just ; turn up and buy your own paint balls?

That's one of the worst websites I've ever seen, can you get the 'equipment' page to work?

Lol its says that its 'done' but it shows nothing on the page.
It does say half day your right, but I dont understand their logic.
1000paintballs is enough for the full day but not keeping the mask. Weather you play half a day using 1000 paint balls or a full day using a 1000, the money they make on the mask is still only 50p. Unless they think you'll have far too many paintballs left and therefore you'll just hand them back over at the end of your half day.

(ya can tel im getting excited now)
Just thought, if 2 people are both planning on getting 1000paint balls then if one person is willing to part with an additional £40 between them they should get the 2000pb package and the person with the extra £40 gets to keep the gun and mask at the end of the day.

God knows what practical use a pb gun would have day to day but it'd be a nice thing to have on your garage wall (and for £40 inc a mask you'll prob never find a cheaper one).
