A3 or A4 depending on prices.
I want the whole top page to be the girl then on the second page the actual dates and pending copyright a picture of the original either in the top left hand corner or on the back of the calendar.

I do know that mine aren't as they were taken by the Klaws and were illegal at the time and as a result they have no copyright.
UK copyright lasts for the life of the artist/photographer/writer etc plus 70 years. But the law changed so it's more complicated for older stuff. When were the photos first published?

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and Intellectual Property

Sarah, that's great.

Can I ask the girls to send you their pictures please?

- If there is any doubt then the originals will simply just not be included.

Any ideas/offers?
I've PM'd the girl who did ours (mkivsupra.net) for a few years to see if she can help. She did a cracking job and I think did the layout etc herself.
Will keep you posted.
Cheers

Oh Gerry, that is fantastic, thanks so much.
Let me know prices etc and minimum orders I will run an interest poll on who will be definately ordering one and then we can calculate a few figures after that.

It's a no go I'm afraid

Although she did some of it, her Bro-in-law (professional artyguy) did most of it, and he can't help.

They did everything (lots of photoshopping and putting the lay out together) and just used an on-line company to print it.
This was the cheapest way of doing it, but the printers will only print exactly what you give them.

Unless you can persuade somebody to do the layout (and I'm sure if anybody can - you can) you will need a company who will take your photo's and design the calendar around them.

I'm sure there are lots who will do that, it's just down to price for numbers.

Sorry - I've done nothing but get your hopes up and then dash them, I should have checked with her first before posting

Good luck.

May be wrong, but I assume the ladies are looking for a top quality one (as befits them) rather than a home-type printed one.

I've emailed Kenny to see if they would help us with a quote and if not who else maybe able to help

Edit: - Yes Kenny is willing to help - They done approx 5000 claendars this year. All they need is the pictures and they have various layouts. Start at about £4 and depnds on qualty and extra's etc Also happy to courier them out for us if needed.
We also don't need to bulk buy so we don't need to have 200 printed at one time can do them in smaller btaches.

What he has suggested though is that we might want to try and look at getting sponsors for each page that will help offset the printing costs and therefore increase our donation to Help for Heroes.

What do you think?
