Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Calling for a light dusting of the white stuff here in the morning.
Been none so far this winter. Not complaining, seems lately, we either get weekly blizzards or nearly no snow at all. I like to see a good snow, as long as it melts off the roads the next day.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I'm sure I've said this on here before but the number of fecktards who deliberately avoid queues by using the wrong lane is growing to epidemic proportions around here. My return commute is only 20 miles but I counted 5 of these gits hacking the rest of us off today and took great delight in blocking a sixth who was getting a right earful from the van he was then holding up. I may just invest in a dash cam and start reporting the selfish a-holes. A colleague who joins the M4 at the hideously busy J11 says it's just as bad there too.

Glad i don't have your commute Sir Trev. Go and work for the summer with my friends French cycling holiday business , she's looking for a domestic help, or a passionate cyclist to help the visiting cyclists with their holidays. Where they are is the perfect antidote to Britains congested road system, and a pace of life that we all should live by.
Mine for today, i cant seem to find anything in the food cupboards that appeals to me or satisfy my hunger.

Tossers who don't clear their windscreens of ice and speed through built up areas and tossers who don't know the purpose of the demister of the driver and passenger side windows of their cars.

No lights in the mornings that's another Herefordshire favourite, that and half the county seem to only have one working headlight.

Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Agree with mavic. I was thinking that this morning as I froze at -5 on the bike.
My gripe though is all the new cars that seem to allow you to switch the front lights on, but leave the rear ones off. Why is this? Why would you want to do this? It seems almost every new Toyota or Transit can do it from what I see on the way home each night. |

DRL's that are side lights do this, no tail lights but a side light at the front. I agree btw, it's just as important to be seen from behind as it is to be seen from head on . . . . . |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Some of this might be headlights set to automatic? My colleague has a vectra with automatic lights?
Pretty dumb if you ask me
