Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
I cannot vouch for the clip ons , but the comfort kit was excellent and made the bike so much more enjoyable

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
They two different things I would assume.
Having read a lot of threads here, if you want comfort you need a bar kit from what I could tell. Others will have a better opinion than me, like I said if you were closer you could try mine. I didn't want to loose the sporty feel of the bike so clipons were ideal for me. Someone makes a good point though, if your looking to replace the whole bar is the SV the bike for you? |

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
well indeed but considering i've only had the bike 3 months, it would be madness to sell it now esp after i have managed to drop it and crash it LOL might as well hold on at least until I pay it off

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
Sling a bar kit on it and you will never look back , makes the bike totally bearable

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
If you can put up with a wait then the CNC Comfort kit I linked to has a fixed price and all the parts you need to fit it.

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
I just wonder if the full bar is superior to clip ons... will the clip ons be as comfortable. what does the full bar offer that the clip ons don't
And I suppose it is a good bike for me. Good value for money, best for insurance for a new rider like me and quite light as far a big bikes go. I can't think of another bike offering the same Just gotta get comfy now |

I would say a full bar is more comfy IMO. |
