I think these were painted by the last owner as he stuck some fake carbon on afterwards

Powdercoating makes perfect sense to me, as i'm far too lazy to polish anything. Saying that I don't think i've actually washed the bike since i put the new bodywork on

Will powder coating give a matte finish? I've never really knowingly noticed!

I think you can have a matt or shiney finish
