I can remember years ago ,being woken up at 2am to find the police at the door. Some toerag had nicked my beloved suzy. Funny thing though ,it had no brakes on it because I was fittin all new ones. Idiot rode it straight into a wall down the street and got 2 broken collar bones for his pleasure. not funny at the time ,but now hohoho |

I have been burgled before. It makes you sick to the bottom of your stomach. The worst thing ever is the things they take that they have no interest in and you know will get thrown away. For me it was a video of the birth of my first born. Made even more important as I was away on an operational tour at the time in the army so didn't actually experience it first hand.
I was gutted and mortified. Ed, I seriously hope one of those scrotes slashes thier wrist on broken glass and bleeds to death. |

Sorry to hear the news Ed. My wife's car also got broken into a while back and in broad daylight. In fact it was one o'clock in the afternoon and I was in my garage four doors down. Didn't see or hear a thing. Thinking back I think it was better this way. If I had seen the guy red handed don't know what I would have done, either freeze motionless or smash his head. Most probably it would have been the last and would have got me into more trouble than fixing the dented door and buying a new stereo. I've fitted an alarm now but still jump whenever I hear an alarm go off by accident. The whole street fitted the same type of alarm to their car it seems. My wife's fault for sure for blabbing what a good deal we got from the local car shop

I had my car done about 18 months ago. On a hotel car park. Left it in place for 3 further days waiting for the cops to do an investigation as they did 4 other cars at the same time. Mine was the expensive damage as instead of a window they punched the lock through the door skin.
Eventually phoned the cops and asked when their crime scene people would be visiting. No point as it has rained since. Great if they had turned out at day one they may have found evidence as to the scroats identity. Sorry to read this has been a blot on your Christmas. I hope it did not set the trend for the rest of the holiday period.

Bad news this, you can't leave anything on display in a car these days. Sad fact is that you should not have to worry.
Lets hope the thieving scroat gets a bad fix and suffers badly |

I've always thought it a reet idea to hijack a few heroin shipments, cut it with rat poison and let it go off to its intended destination.
A mate of mine used to leave his dog in the back of his van, came back one day and the window was smashed, the dogs sat on the drivers seat with the sleeve of a jacket in his mouth and there must of been a pint or so of blood all over passenger seat, dash and windscreen ![]()
