I had my fair share of dodging trees last year so I know what you mean! GWS and heal fast.

Sorry to hear that your a bit injured mate, but at least your still here. As said before bikes can be mended, sometimes riders can't.

I do feel like a bit of a muppet.
I think if insurance was involved, the bike would be a written off. Needs a new headlight unit, front fairings, front forks, but I think I can fix most of it myself in time. I'm going to work out how much more it'd cost to fix everything than it would to streetfighter it, hopefully there isn't that much difference and i can choose what I really want to do

Yeah, funnily enough Lozzo, I was trying to find my way to the B645 and B660 which you mentioned a while a go, but I went wrong in St Neots so never got anywhere near them When its OTR again, I'll have another look, and hopefully not end up in Sandy/Potton. I didn't know til I got picked up that I'd basically turned back on myself and was heading back towards home, but oh well, I'll take a map next time..

Some pics..

A bent fork:

Broken top left fairing

Lowers after some off roading..

Cracked front fairing

Bare front end.

Dad pulling the bolt off the back of the headlights

Part of the left top fairing and the parts to my mudguard..

Cracked front fairing

But, I will learn from it all. I was planning on joining the IAM now and doing bikesafe anyway, now I have to wait til I've fixed things

Dad asked me if it'd put me off riding. It'd take more than a little tumble to stop me jumping strait back on it

Oh Sean, I'm sorry to read all this. It was in such perfect nick. Glad you're OK. Much tea and sympathy.
