Not hard stuff, I warn you the wiring will do your head in though. Rewired mine totally and its a very tedious and annoying job.

I'm no expert on the S wiring, but presuming the main loom is the same as the nekkid.

At a guess ... butcher the old sub loom, blank off most of the connectors, bring a couple of wires forward, while you're there bypass the clutch switch at the connector on the bike side.
I can't really help much as I don't know what lights and stuff your new clocks have, give us a clue?

Let me know what dials and indicator lights it has on it, then I'll be able to tell you what wires you need to extract from the sub loom

If it comes with a wiring diagram then scan it in when you get it

as a standard unit, the clocks dont come with any lights.its a basic screen which shops digital speed, rpm, etc etc.you can get a dashboard for it that has indicator lights etc but I'm not fussed about buying that straight away. should I just blank off indicator wires for now?

the main thing I'm going to struggle with is understanding howthe wiring for the headlight connects into a single headlight, or even two single headlights (if I go for that streetfighter look)

That really is the easiest bit.

Simply ignore one of the lightbulb plugs, bit of tape so the sidelight connector doesn't short out and jobs a good un.

Literally unplug from normal lights, plug one headlight in instead.

H4 bulbs as fitted to UK SV are twin element

Trickiest part is keeping it neat.
