Hello there! I've been pillioning with my other half (mousetrapper) for the last 18 months and we have great fun together! It's even better when you're rising through the alps winding up and down the hairpin bends!!

However, like you I have been bitten by the bug and plan to do my CBT soon!

Glad you enjoyed it - sounds like you are pretty hooked already!

I pillioned regularly for many years - loved it - but in the end decided to learn to ride myself because I wanted to be able to see where I was going

I hate being a pillion usually - hate not being in control. The only person I trusted was an old girlfriend, she was good rider - very safe. Don't know if I enjoyed having her on the back, whenever I gave the bike some beans, she'd try to climb up me back and push me over the headlight

The worst experience I had as a pillion - that's easy. 6 months after a car turned right in front of me and sent me flying into a lamp post and my mate into the wing of the car, a friend picked me up at Northampton train station with his "race tuned" T120 and a spare helmet. I was expecting to die

all the way to Irchester. Looking back, he got me back onto bikes again though

. Never been on a bike like that old crate, it vibrated that badly, I couldn't see properly and couldn't keep my feet on the pegs!

Like riding as pillion or driver. Like taking a pillion. Lots of times, two up is is more fun as you have someone to laugh with (or at). Just waiting for our resident mad pillion to stick her oar in...........

Having been riding now since October, can say with hand on heart that I hope I never go pillion again.....so much more fun being in control.As me and Lily only moved in together a week ago though, we obviousley have to save money again for her to do her test.....until that day, will just have to keep taking her as a pillion. Also, as per her earlier post, "Hope the weather is nice this weekend", I have just checked the forecast for here and not so good.....snow on Friday and Snow on Saturday.
