By time i finish at work it can be 7.30pm, ive then gotto get home, sort me stuff out there and then head out to soho and then do the return journey and be at work the next day before 9am, until summer comes and nights are lighter/longer its not a option.

Come on people someone must have a torque wrench I can borrow?! I found I need a bloody 8mm hex bit too (not socket). I just bought the hundred quid socket set from Halfords and the hex bits only go up to 6mm! Had to use the torx bit to undo the engine mounting bolts. I've got the extension though. Managed to snap a rod while fitting my lower frame sliders tonight which I wasn't best pleased with. I tightened the nut and it just kept turning until *pop* the end of the rod came clean off!

I'll buy a grande latte frappa lappa no caffeine columbian espressucino for whoever brings one for me to use! Let me know though cos I'll bring the other bits needed.

Oh yeah, my bike is cold without the fairing lowers. I've had to cable tie the indicators on!

Standard 8-60 Nm one sitting in my hall here, but obviously I can't get anywhere.

Cheers Mark.

Doh! Mark do you think I overtightened the bolt that snapped the rod? It needs 20Nm. I was using a 3/8" ratchet and really not a lot of pressure. The nut just kept spinning. I'm an ex refrigeration engineer and know how to handle nuts and bolts and I've never sheared one. What do you think?

(Sorry to derail folks)
