First service is parts only and all other services are as per a Jap bike. 4'000 mile intervals. No more expensive than a new Honda, Suzi or whatever.

the shiver is an orrid bike from what I've heard and read. Oh and it was rather curious looking when I saw one in the Dianese shop in manchester last month. Oh and all that awkward cleaning you'll have to do, I'd get a test drive done before you consider one, they're a bit poo apparently

wonder what the paint finish is like??
However my mates got one of those FZ6's with the nice uder seat zorst system, really good he says, but the seat after riding to Bordeaux with us last year resembled something like a block of wood to sit on, goes like stink though

Get another SV!!!!!

Trouble is, even once the Street Triple is available there'll still be no good deals on it, if David wants 0% finance... Not going to happen I think.

The shiver's had some fairly good reviews, most have said something along the lines of "Pretty good, but not as good as a Street Triple"...

Get a ZX6R on o% mate, you wont regret it at alll brilliant bikes!! George whites still have the 2007 model at around £5300 on 0% as well.

stay clear of a Z750 bag of w**k suspension apparantly, and WTF would anyone want a naked bike!!

I would be tempted to have a ride on a gsxf 650, they look good in my opinion and mechanically they are basically a bandit so should be good. The gsxr like colour scheme looks good and I would have thought that mods and bling bits will be readily available pretty soon if not already.

They are awesome bikes but very focused. The suspension is quite hard for road use. It is a rocketship of a bike though.

Naked bikes are great, much better for long journeys and touring too (with a fly screen). I could not tour on my '07 ZX6R, which is why I sold it today.

indeed they are rocket ships, i took mine for a blast yesterday to cheer me up after i put it on its side in the morning, redlined in 3rd and 4th , dared not look at the spedo but must have been doing about 140 and it was still pulling like a train!

but you are right very focused bikes, and if you commute or want to tour then tere are far better ikes to do it on, but i doubt any will put as big a smile on your face?
