![]() Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it. Maybe they sharpened the steering to make up for the longer swingarm??? I run a 110 link chain and the N gearing on my S model with the shorter swingarm. The axle sits back a bit further in the swingarm but it really improves handling...at least for my tastes. I discovered this by accident a few years back when I bought a chain and sprocket kit for the N model. (They don't sell a kit with the S gearing and a 108 link chain here in the US) The plan was to take 2 links out but my chain breaker tool decintigrated while braking the old chain. I was leaving on a 2000 mile trip the next day and I don't live near any bike shops.... so I decided to ride it like it was till I got back....but to my surprise it handled better. The steering seems much less twitchy now. |
