Any small amount of good wishes and healing thoughts I have to spare consider directed towards Jenny and her Dad, admittedly not much, but if it helps at all feel free to use them*.

Good news on the operation front, and hope the recovery isn’t to frustrating as I know it can be, he’ll probably have to face a few lifestyle changes in the future so a degree of tolerance and understanding from thoughs around him I’m sure will be appreciated.

Good luck and hoping for the best of outcomes.

Only just seen this thread, very glad to read all went well during the operation. Thank goodness Jenny forced him to go to A&E, shrugging off a heart attack is pretty hardcore though!

All my best to him and Jenny! Glad the major part of it should be over now.

We were there with him last night and he came out the op with no problems. It was a double bypass he had in the end.

Jenny's on her way to see him this morning and they say that unless there are any complications they plan to keep him for 10-15 days and then he'll be fine to go home.

We're very lucky that the hospital is so close to my work and only minutes from Jenny's work too so it means we can pop in as often as he needs...tho why anyone would wanna see my ugly mug while they are trying to recover is beyond me

Thanks again to all of you who posted in here. Jenny had a little read of it this arvo when she popped into the office here and i logged in for her.

She was very touched and said "they're all such nice peeps" .... and you know what.

She aint wrong!!!! to you all.

I'll be seeing him shortly but apparently he's already up and sitting in a chair and had lunch today etc so its all looking very positive at the moment.

Even the docs said he must have a high pain threshold to have ignored a heart attack...a minor one but an attack never the less!

Hi Zig and Jen, really glad to hear that all went sucessfully. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery now.
