Don't **** with it. You've proven yourself beyond doubt to be a man of changable biking desires so, short of things that'll actually make it better- ie, find out why the front end is freaking you out- I reckon you should leave it alone. Modifying bikes is madness unless you're in for the long term.

Keep it to the restriction definitely - it'll feel loads faster, my CBR is much faster above 8krpm or so. Can you not take it on track or something, and take out the restrictors for the day so you can get an idea for it?

Glad to see you took on board what I was saying Plowsie.

However, as most of the other peeps have previously said, I wouldn't waste too much dosh on bling. Sort out the suspension first. That seems to be where most of the problem lies.
