what will the police let you get away with

well today i heard of a "friend" who got to 105 on a 6R before the national speed limit sign out of a 50 MPH 500m straight

I doubt very much "he" would have got away with that if there had been plod around

A few years back, some of the lads from another web place were having a contest to see who could break the most speed limits by 100mph. They started with easy ones like 170 on a motorway and worked down. It sort of fizzled out at 120mph in a 20 limit.
