Not to mention they had to cut all the leg muscles to get to it all, so they are still bonding together too.

H'es going to have issues for the rest of his life i think. Won't stop him riding though, he broke his neck in his early 20's

Just another reason to be so carefull on the road.

unfortunately most of the metal strap things have now been removed and the short pins as these were holding the bone together last year, only have a few bolts and screws in there now ( the big fat ones hold the PCL replacement in place.
