Nope, I've seen what you can do on that Z, especially with the Contis on. Your honour is safe.
Hey back off Pete.

There will be two Zeds on the day

And both corner perfectly well.

Sid Squid was able to improve my chicken strips somewhat on Friday night round central London, and that was without him trying.

And there was me thinking that having gotten them down to the edge of the tread pattern had been good.......

We can stop at Downham Market instead or we could take the B1101 from March to Wisbech then pick up the A1101 after stopping at said garage? Either way I'm not fussed.
No worries BBD. We can make a collective decision on the day I reckon.

Only joshing. The Z can leave my Sv for a very dead thing.

Not sure about that- but even if it did, it sounds like a washing machine

I am guessing solo, tho Vixis always has the option of coming along, I think that the weather will still be a little chilly for her - especially if leaving for/getting back from London in the dark - she really has a problem with the cold (well coming from Kiwiland, what do you expect :P)

Still the Zed did VERY well with a mate on the back the other week, so no big problem if she does

done the route up to ramsey a couple of times this week, once with my dad (slow), the road between ramsey st mary's and ramsey is closed, have to go down to bury and then up, but its easy enough, i managed to do it without getting lost, and thats saying something.. I'll look closer to the time, it'll probably be re-opened soon

Well I did a bit of a scout of things this weekend.

Was up at March visiting friends - 2 hours to there from home.

So may end up staying with that friend overnight on the Sat, but may come from London, not sure yet, although I did mention the ride to Sid Squid, so he may be coming along

Did find out however, that starting from South London (SW9) then going up to Liverpool St, then using the A11 -> M11, I managed to fo 110 miles on the Zed and only use 10.5 litres of fule - and that was 2-up.

Looks like the Zed is going to be more economical than the SV was

You saying your Dad's slow, then?

Hopefully, the road will be open, it's nearly a month til the rideout!
