Ive gone for Mitchelin pilot road 2's. I liked them from my SV, and i do a fair amound of streight line riding when Im commuting so the dual compound gives good streightline miles and the sides are sports compound for the twisties. Woked real good on the helmsley TT run. loved it.

Id happily recomend them as a good real world tire.

if I'd have had the met z6's on then ..... ask Rob the last he rode with me over ther passes...

I hate these Battleaxes... and roll on the new rubber is all I can say...

ps.
you rode well, only silly minor is when overtaking someone , always think what do you think they will do... as in you over took some one who was over taking some one else and left very little room at one point.

apart from that dude, NICE one.

Indeed. I apologised for that. Was silly.

I have to look into the 2CT. I have Pilot sport and love them a lot. Great grip.

Riding looked pretty smooth when I was behind you on the TT, only thing I was a little worried about were the mid corner taps on the braking on the odd corner when you weren't sure, it looked more like a confidence tap than real braking, and probably didn't unsettle the bike. This is something I try to avoid once I've entered a corner (but I'm sure I make the same mistake sometimes).

Also your bike was too fast to overtake on the minimal TT straights

Got a BT020 on the back of mine, I agree that there doesn't seem to be as much feel as the Diablo Strada (Z6), looking forward to fitting something else. Got a mismatched Strada front on with worn shoulders that is probably not helping.

Bring on the warmth and stickier tyres.

What you got on Richie? I have lost faith in the BT-020 on mine, getting Avons next, which I liked a lot on the SV.

I always wonder what people think of my riding, although I dont ride with people all that often.

I have been told that some of my overtaking was suicidal once Didnt understand why apart from that it was on the outside of a bend, although I knew the road and you could see for absolute miles by looking at various vantage points.

Since then I have been fairly concious about how others percieve my riding, which is the main reason for not riding with other people that often to be honest.

Was you wanting to come past?

I needed to know the road, I wasnt too bad when I was following people but once we got stuck behind that bus and left I was having to ride what I could see.

The brake was just a bit of a confident thing, trail the back break as the bike dont have as much engine breaking as you might imagine, that's down to the slipper clutch though

Was I holding you up in the bends?
