Right.....we have replied to the text as per Lozzo's suggestion. Should he respond, or, continue to harrass, then lilly has agreed to let ME sort it out.....so, some of your suggestions may indeed be required.

Maybe you could suggest his bible group may not take kindly to his picture texting, then agian they may just turn the other cheek

keep the texts. then when there are a dozen with times and dates go to the police- one text I think would not constitute harrassment- one text of this ilk I mean .

I hope it wears off- its horrid on edge listening for that ping of a text u dont want- but thats what he wants- you on edge.



outside idea- you both go to his parents and have a word with them and say its a police matter if they dont sort it. - I would be mortified if my parens had to have a "quiet" word with me

Play some games with him, follow him around a bit, wake him up with exhaust noise at stupid hours, find out as much as you can about him. The bible group seems to be a good target.

I would advise you not to get involved as you could end up going down a road you cant come back from. It sounds similar to an episode a friend of mine had, they also choose the quite word route instead of changing numbers. lets just say it ended in tears and jail sentences. If he is the type of person that txt pictures of his kn$b to an ex-girlfriend that continuosly turns him down. Then he will be the sort of person who will only relish the fact that yo have upped the anti by the quite word.

Change the number and dont get involved.

Show them as many texts as you can, including the offending one, and ask to have him warned under the protection from harrasment act.

That basically states that if "someone pursues a course of conduct that they know or ought to know is likely to cause harrasment, alarm or distress" then they are guilty of an offence.

I used this when a resident of my beat complained of harrasment by her neighbour. The neighbour was made the subject of a restraining order which she broke and got 5 months imprisonment. (1 month for each breach).
