Ah, don't knock them. I've found the large majority of cabbies to be very helpful when I've asked for directions.

One even got me to follow him for a little way in the direction I needed to go. He didn't even do an unannounced u-turn in front of me, or anything!

the only reason i managed to find frith street for the 1st a was because a cabby helped me out
