I've just been invited to my first school reunion

Personally Baph, I would turn up as yourself. If I were to go to a school reunion as a biker burd..my school chums used to say I was the years swot, and a geek....they'd all have to look twice and it would give em all something to titter at

and I'd park in front of the school door....not just in the playground...after all the bike still classed as a bicyle according to the tax disk dso I can park it anywhere..lol

Dizzy, I'm up in Yorkshire for this (Dewsbury specifically) and I've talked about meeting up with Jason, for the above, you deserve a drink (knowing you, a pint, right?).

Class idea. Unless the school has been changed, there's some steps right outside the doors, with a disabled access ramp at the side of the steps. I shall be taking photo's!

nah i quite enjoyed school, but i'm still friends witht he people i was friends with in school. its quite easy to meet most of the people who used to go to my school though, as they all tend to still go to the same local nightclub every friday/saturday night. generally bump into them there and when i speak to them there they seem to be the same people i disliked at school

Like Viney I got really badly bullied and I'd never want to meet up with those people ever again. They made my life hell and I wont give them a 2nd chance to do so.

I wasnt bullied, but i wasnt exactly popular either. I felt more of a ghost at school.

And the only time anyone took notice of me was when I messed up at playing sports in PE.

I would only go back to a school reunion to call all the P.E teachers the four letter word begining with C (i got in trouble for saying that word just the once) and to inform them that I proudly bunked off their crap lessons and went home and learnt maths, a move which my parents did not have a problem with.

Oh, and I'd like to see my maths teacher, tell him after he messed up my maths GCSE by not teaching me, i taught myself enough to get a C at the higher paper, then at uni taught myself enough maths to do really well at chemistry.

Id also like to see my design and technology teachers, tell them thanks for providing some of the best times of my school life

I personally wouldn't go to a Primary or Secondary school reunion if I got invited to one; I was seriously picked on and bullied everyday for 6 years in primary school for being deaf & clever. I don't want to see anyone from there ever again.

Secondary school was great (no-one bullied me, yay!) but I wouldnt attend because Im still in touch with the good friends I made while at school. I have nothing to gain by going.

I mean, It would be great to be nosey and see what people are upto but thats gone out the window with facebook - Ive recently had all sorts of people from my school (includying a bully from primary school) "friend" request me (98% of which I declined)

Nothing. Zilch. Zero. I even went into his office crying once and all he could do was pull them out of class and say "dont do that again". they didnt even get suspended..!

So glad im rid of that place now. But it has affected who I am now I think; im not as confident in myself as I should be.
