Wouldn't be much fun if it was all kissy kissy hippy cr@p.

Just don't take anything too seriously.

The curvy's the one that's classic status is assured by a very original design. Or is it just the one that wanted to be a Triumph T959......

I genuinely like both equally. I think that I was drawn to the pointy because newer bikes were in my price range and I liked the K4s in blue a lot, but if I had, say, £2200 to buy an SV with, I'd look at curvies too, for sure.

Or even a T595

Similar look, but when triumph made the 955i pointy they did a good job on the styling

Its a simple answer -

Pointy is a stylish modern design with excellent lines.
Curvy's generally have top boxes and are used to deliver pizza.

Hah oh yeah, oops. 955cc though right?

Yep, you're right about later Daytonas and the pointy. I think it's fairly safe to say that Suzuki never invested a great deal of money in creative or imaginative styling development for either bike. Meetings probably concluded with sentences starting "So we'll make it look a bit like......".

yup t595 was a 955cc, then they changed the name to 955i with some tweaks because for some reason loads of people thought the t595 was a 600
