thats exactly what i want to do. bring the bike to standard as when i bot it. the rear i can do. its the front am trying to figure out how to go about.

The common ways,

1. Suspend the bike from a rafter using straps under the headstock.
2. Front paddock stand which raises the bike from under the steering stem.

3. Get a jack under the engine with the bike on its side stand and raise the front up by putting the bikes weight through the rear wheel and sidestand (make sense?)

much thanks to all the input.pics have really helped.after looking at my bike it all makes sense.i'll start the operation 2morrow as its supposed to rain the next couple of days.

we'll post results and pictures when its all said and done.

ok. so i accomplished raising the rear of my sv. question is, do have to raise the front forks? bike rides good so far.i dont feel any handling issues.

i would measure the front 1st and see what it has been dropped.
