only ever use 2 fingers anyway, that is more than the tyre can cope with anyway and the notch is past that point, about where my ring finger sits on it, so it's not a danger.

& yes I like your money saving, but surely the bolt has done it's job yes it will now hold the bung on, but will it work as well the next time you really need it?
will be getting some motosliders soon so it's a very temporary measure to hold the thing in place.

Glad all all 3 of you relatively unscathed etc.
Cheers

Only just read this - thank god you both came away unscathed - glad you were able to "get back on the horse" so to speak - straight away!

(which reminds me I havent been back on a horse since I fell off in February! )

Ta for the well wishes guys, I'm just thankful we both alright with no real damage to the bike, phew! Shook me up a bit but glad I was able to get back on once it was fixed

Was a bit of a reality check in hindsight, just to say 'are you sure you want to carry on with the CBT?' lol, well had already paid my deposit by that point so there's no going back now

Typical Yorkshire Tightar$$e attitude....'I damn well paid for my CBT, so I'll damn well do it'......also it seems Yorkshire burds are made out of Yorkie stone when it comes to hard knocks.....good lass
