Well I think its ment to compete with the 990SM... So weight aint a massive issue since the SM isnt light...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b2Du4fx_4U is a review. All the reviews ive read have been good and in the MCN shootout it was faster around the track than the 990SM and only a little slower than the Ducati Hypermotard. Considering its £1500 less then id say thats BRILLIANT! http://www.superbike.co.uk/news/Apri...ws_255397.html Many reviews say the 186kg thing sounds wrong because it feels more like 168kg. Why it is so heavy I dont know! Wierd. IMO a VERY nice bike that will be easier to ride than the bigger Ducati and KTM. I might even try to get out on one for a laugh ![]() |

me thinks the database is screwed...

it might be fast round a normal track, but if you took it to a supermoto track unless you put an expert on it amongst a bunch of amateurs it'd suffer badly, all the weight trying to wrestle round corners would knacker you, and the short suspension travel would mean you'd probably snap something on the jumps of course all those criticisms can also be levelled at the 950 and the hypermotard, because none of them are really supermotos in the true spirit of what supermoto really is. i ride with a guy on a 950SM and it's a stunning road bike, but it's no proper supermoto ![]()

![]() tbh if i were looking at something as civilised as the dorsoduro i'd also be considering the aprilia shiver, same engine but no pretension with the styling, and better looking IMO, or the KTM 690 series, Duke 3 or 690SM if you're going to ride exclusively on road, 690SMC if you want to use it on the track as well: if you ask me, the Duke III in white is a bit of a tasty looker... 690SMC: ![]()

That does make sense, but the Dorsoduro's been murdering the shiver in reviews so far...
