knocking noise

i give up listening for knocks, ticks and rumbles on my sv, all bike engines make weird noises if you sit and listen, personaly i'd ignore it jap engines are strong.

ok good news

the noise went away for like 2min, after the ride it was back again.

just serviced the bike new oil and filter an the noise is gone all together.
will ride it on wknd then see if its still there.

think the problem was caused by the tensioner and old oil. <low grade>

I've got exactly the same symptons on my old Fiat!!! I'm going to call my mechanic to have a look over, but feel happier that it's possibly not terminal.
Bought the car for my daughter to learn to drive in and even though that's still a year and bit to go, she loves the car and it's perfect for her, I would hate to scrap it.
