NEC Bike Show: who's going when? - Page 3 - SV650.org

Me and 2 mates are leaving VERY early on Friday morning to drive down, spend day at the show then booked a hotel for Friday night, one or two drinkies then a gentle drive back up on Saturday. Thankfully they managed to book me a single room and they're sharing even though a family room was cheaper - no way I'm sharing a room with drunken smelly boys - yuck, lol.

It's my first bike show so I'm leaving my credit card at home

Im heading over on the friday.doing the show on sat 29th and coming home on the sunday.Without the wife yeha.staying in a hotel called nitenite.looks like they are somekind of small room thingy.but dont intend spending much time in the hotel anyway,any locals with advice were to go on fri and sat night.

We going with Poynton Motorcycle club on coach with breakfast provided and only the cost of the ticket

loads of room to bring goodies home

Sorry to dredge this one up but its getting closer to the time now and might be of a bit more use to those who weren't decided before perhaps, just a thought anyhow.

I'm after some kit and other bargains, hence aiming for the first public day, hoping to get there early and bag some bargains, best ones to be had at the end of the show i'd guess but far less choice then and I'm picky

Dunno if J+S will be having the same bargain stuff they had last year, seemed to be due to the floods, ah well. heres hoping.

I'm off on the first Sat, with my Dad as usual and one of my mates. My Dad is on the look out for a new steed having recently written off his FZ6 Fazer, but as he has no idea what he wants, I can see it being a long day! I'd like some new leathers, but as I'm skint there will have to be some real bargains on what I'm after for me to be splashing out.
